General Rules
- The competition is open for everyone who is interested
- The tasks will be announced at the beginning of the month, and time period for solving them is ~15 days
- To make the solving of the optimization easier, tasks are prepared as excel files, with formulas for automatic score calculation. Completed tasks should be copied and sent to the editor by an email
- Completed tasks can be sent more than once until the specified deadline elapses and competitors who send completed tasks can see all the results arrived to that point
- Scoring of each task is specifically defined by the rules, and general rankings will be calculated in percentages comparing to the best solution (or solutions) which worth 100 points
- 10 most successful competitors of the round get bonus points from 10 to 1. In case of the same results, the time of sending them is decisive
- 8 best scores during the year are used for calculating general rankings of The Optimizers’ League, which means that the maximum possible number of points is 880

TASK: 1) In the first white grid, write an equal number of letters A, B, C and D, so that they do not touch anywhere. Typed letters assign values 1, 2, 3 and 4 to surrounding cells in the second grid. If a cell in the second grid touches 2 or 3 different letters, those values are added. 2) In the second white grid, mark one closed loop with the letter X. The loop must not occupy cells with letters and must not touch itself.
CALCULATION: The result is calculated according to the formula Lv+Lv/Ll. Lv is the sum of all numbers along the loop, and Ll is the length of the loop. Maximize your final score.
OBRAČUN: Rezultat se obračunava po formuli Lv+Lv/Ll. Lv je zbir svih brojeva duž petlje, a Ll je dužina petlje. Maksimizujte svoj konačni rezultat.

ZADATAK: 1) U prvu belu mrežu upišite jednak broj slova A, B, C i D, tako da se ona nigde ne dodiruju. Upisana slova okolnim poljima u drugoj mreži dodeljuju vrednost 1, 2, 3 i 4. Ako polje u drugoj mreži dodiruje 2 ili 3 različita slova, te vrednosti se sabiraju. 2) U drugoj beloj mreži slovom X označite jednu zatvorenu petlju. Petlja ne sme zauzimati polja sa slovima i ne sme dodirivati samu sebe.OBRAČUN: Rezultat se obračunava po formuli Lv+Lv/Ll. Lv je zbir svih brojeva duž petlje, a Ll je dužina petlje. Maksimizujte svoj konačni rezultat.
